CBIC transfers 18 Deputy Commissioners and Assistant Commissioners

New Delho: The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) on Friday (October 30, 2026) issued transfer and posting orders for 18 officers in the grades of Deputy Commissioner and Assistant Commissioner of Customs and Indirect Taxes.

The names of the officers and their new postings are as follows:

1. Prashant Kumar Jaiswal (IRS-C&IT:2014), Deputy Commissioner, Delhi GST & CX Zone, has been transferred and posted to the Directorate General of Export Promotion (DGEP), Delhi, to work in the Customs Export Promotion Wing, CBIC.
2. Sridhar Das (IRS-C&IT:2016), Deputy Commissioner, on return from deputation, has been posted to the Mumbai GST & CX Zone.
3. Rahul Kumar (IRS-C&IT:2017), Deputy Commissioner, Delhi Customs Zone, has been transferred and posted to the Directorate General of Export Promotion (DGEP), Delhi, to work in the Customs Export Promotion Wing, CBIC.
4. Dhiraj Vishwasrao More (IRS-C&IT:2017), Deputy Commissioner, Pune GST & CX Zone, has been transferred and posted to CBN, Gwalior.
5. Anirudh R Gangavaram (IRS-C&IT:2017), Deputy Commissioner, currently on deputation to the FATF Cell, CBIC, with substantive posting at DGPM, Delhi, has been posted to the Nagpur GST & CX Zone.
6. Chetankumar Ashokkumar Verma (IRS-C&IT:2023), Assistant Commissioner, on return from deputation, has been posted to the Ahmedabad GST & CX Zone.
7. Subrata Debnath (IRS-C&IT:2023), Assistant Commissioner, currently on deputation to DGGI, Gangtok, has been posted to the Kolkata GST & CX Zone.
8. Patel Umang Kumar D (IRS-C&IT:2023), Assistant Commissioner, DGRI, Indore, has been transferred and posted to CESTAT, Ahmedabad.
9. Swapan Kumar Mazumder (IRS-C&IT:2023), Assistant Commissioner, Guwahati GST & CX Zone, has been transferred and posted to the Kolkata GST & CX Zone.
10. Muskan Khurana (IRS-C&IT:2023), Assistant Commissioner, Visakhapatnam GST & CX Zone, has been transferred and posted to DGTS, Delhi, to work in the FATF Cell, Department of Revenue.
11. Ankit (IRS-C&IT:2023), Assistant Commissioner, Chennai GST & CX Zone, has been transferred and posted to DGRI, Amritsar.
12. Sivaprakash S V (IRS-C&IT:2023), Assistant Commissioner, Delhi GST & CX Zone, has been transferred and posted to DGRI, Coimbatore.
13. Gopal Krishna Saxena (IRS-C&IT:2025), Assistant Commissioner, CBN, Gwalior, has been transferred and posted to CESTAT, Allahabad.
14. Sugumar Suresh S (IRS-C&IT:2025), Assistant Commissioner, Mumbai GST & CX Zone, has been transferred and posted to DGRI, Trichy.
15. Ashok Kumar (IRS-C&IT:2025), Assistant Commissioner, Guwahati GST & CX Zone, has been transferred and posted to the Panchkula GST & CX Zone.
16. Krishna Pada Das (IRS-C&IT:2020) has been posted to the Kolkata GST & CX Zone on promotion as Assistant Commissioner (in-situ).
17. Vishal Mehta (IRS-C&IT:2023) has been posted to the Lucknow GST & CX Zone on promotion as Assistant Commissioner (in-situ).
18. Kushal Singh Rawat (IRS-C&IT:2025) has been posted to the Directorate General of Export Promotion (DGEP), Delhi, to work in the Customs Policy Wing, CBIC, on promotion as Assistant Commissioner (in-situ).
