New Delhi: The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) on Friday (October 30, 2026) issued transfer and posting orders for 10 officers in the grade of Chief Commissioner/Director General of Customs and Indirect Taxes.
According to Order, Atul Kumar Rastogi (IRS-C&IT:1992), Chief Commissioner, Patna Customs Preventive Zone, has been transferred and posted as Chief Commissioner (AR), CESTAT, New Delhi.
The postings of the other officers, who are being assigned positions on promotion, are as follows:
- KM Ravichandran (IRS-C&IT:1992) has been posted as Director General, Export Promotion, New Delhi, on promotion, with the designation of Chief Commissioner in-situ.
- Satyajit Singh (IRS-C&IT:1993) has been posted as Chief Commissioner, Panchkula, GST and Central Excise Zone, on promotion, in-situ.
- Ved Prakash Shukla (IRS-C&IT:1993) has been posted as Chief Commissioner, Vadodara, GST and Central Excise Zone, on promotion, in-situ.
- N Sridhar (IRS-C&IT:1993) has been posted as Chief Commissioner, Visakhapatnam, GST and Central Excise Zone, on promotion, in-situ.
- Jaideep P (IRS-C&IT:1993) has been posted as Chief Commissioner, Chennai, GST and Central Excise Zone, on promotion, in-situ.
- Gurusharan Singh (IRS-C&IT:1993) has been posted as Director General, SNU-North, DGGSTI, Gurugram, on promotion, in-situ.
- Kiran Verma (IRS-C&IT:1993) has been posted as Director General, SNU-East, DGGSTI, Kolkata, on promotion, in-situ.
- Arvinder Singh Ranga (IRS-C&IT:1993) has been posted as Chief Commissioner, Patna Customs Preventive Zone, on promotion, in-situ.
- Baswaraj M Nalegave (IRS-C&IT:1994) has been posted as Director General, SNU-South, DGGSTI, Chennai, on promotion, in-situ.
