New Delhi: AGMUT cadre Indian Forest Service (IFoS) officer Rahul Singh (IFoS:2013:AGMUT), who was recommended for central deputation by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Food and Public Distribution, Delhi, for four years.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (October 16, 2026), his appointment has been approved under the Central Staffing Scheme for four years from the date of taking charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Prior to this central posting, Singh had been serving as Additional Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board, Jammu and Kashmir, since October 2021.
