Jharkhand has got a big reason to feel proud, as the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) at Mussoorie has decided to conduct a foundation course for IAS at its Shrikrishna Sinha Lok Sansthan in Ranchi. The institute is known for excellence and has received ISO certification for teaching quality.
The necessary approval to conduct foundation course here has been granted. Thus, those who are selected for the IAS cadre after passing the Civil Services Examination will be trained in Mussoorie as well as in Ranchi, the Jharkhand’s capital.
The LBSNAA had proposed that a three-and-a-half-month foundation course for IAS can be conducted at the Sri Krishna Sinha Lok Sansthan in Ranchi.
But Jharkhand is not alone as the State Administrative Training Academies of Maharashtra and Telangana have also been selected for this purpose.
All the three certifications have been received based on the high-level conduct of the Foundation Course and training programme during service period of the State and Central officers.
The Quality Research Organization (QRO) has recognized the administrative and academic structure of the Institute globally.
It’s worth mentioning here that on the directions from the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), four such works have been carried out which have enhanced the credibility of Sri Krishna Lok Lok Sansthan at the national level. Not only government officials have been groomed through training, but master trainers have also been prepared for training institutes across the country.
Officers from Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Odisha, Punjab, Telangana and Meghalaya have also been trained under the national programme of the DoPT.
As per the Union Govt’s directions, programmes based on scientific analysis of training requirement, curriculum structure and effective training modules have been formulated. Many experiments were carried out to make the training practical.
The Sansthan Director, Dr. Manish Ranjan, is reported to have confirmed the news, saying the Administrative Training Institute has been selected to impart training to All India Civil Services trainees and further action will be taken in this regard soon.
