New Delhi: The central government has extended the tenure of one Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) and assigned additional charge of two other CVO posts to serving officers through three separate orders.
Govindarajan Appakkannu (IPoS:2000), CVO of NLC India Limited (NLCIL), Neyveli, has been given a two-year extension. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), his tenure has been extended beyond October 15, 2026 up to October 15, 2028, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Meanwhile, Neelakanta Reddy (IRSSE:1997), CVO of National Mineral Development Corporation Limited (NMDC), Hyderabad, has been assigned additional charge of CVO, Kudremukh Iron Ore Company Limited (KIOCL), Bengaluru. He will hold the additional charge for one year or until appointment of a regular CVO, whichever is earlier.
In another order, Renuka Mishra (IES:2003), Economic Advisor in the Ministry of Heavy Industries, has been assigned additional charge of CVO, Heavy Engineering Corporation Limited (HEC), Ranchi. Her additional charge will be for three months from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
