Ajay Kumar Sahani’s tenure as IREDA CVO extended by two years

New Delhi: The tenure of Ajay Kumar Sahani (IRSME:2008) as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd. (IREDA) has been extended by two years.

According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (September 7, 2026), the competent authority has approved the proposal to extend Sahani’s tenure for a period of two years beyond October 15, 2026, up to October 15, 2028, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Sahani has been serving as CVO of IREDA since October 15, 2023. He was initially appointed to the post for a three-year tenure, which was scheduled to end on October 15, 2026.
