15 Assistant SP-level IPS officers get new postings in Tamil Nadu

The Tamil Nadu government on Monday (August 31, 2026) issued transfer and posting orders for 15 IPS officers with immediate effect. All the officers are serving at the Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) level and have been assigned to various rural and urban police subdivisions across the state.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Anjit A Nayar (IPS:2024), has been posted as Assistant Superintendent of Police, Thoothukudi Rural Sub-Division, Thoothukudi.
2. P Ankit (IPS:2024), has been posted as Assistant Superintendent of Police, Pattukkottai Sub-Division, Thanjavur District.
3. S Aswini (IPS:2024), has been posted as Assistant Superintendent of Police, Tiruchengode Sub-Division, Namakkal District.
4. Biswajit Panda (IPS:2024), has been posted as Assistant Superintendent of Police, Tirunelveli Rural Sub-Division, Tirunelveli District.
5. Chathriya Kavin DJ (IPS:2023), has been posted as Assistant Superintendent of Police, Chidambaram Sub-Division, Cuddalore District.
6. S Inba (IPS:2024), has been posted as Assistant Superintendent of Police, Thiruverumbur Sub-Division, Tiruchirappalli District.
7. P Manjima (IPS:2024), has been posted as Assistant Superintendent of Police, Dindigul Rural Sub-Division, Dindigul District.
8. Mannam Sujith Sampath (IPS:2024), has been posted as Assistant Superintendent of Police, Rasipuram Sub-Division, Namakkal District.
9. Neel Sharma (IPS:2024), has been posted as Assistant Superintendent of Police, Kovilpatti Sub-Division, Thoothukudi District.
10. K Nehaa (IPS:2024), has been posted as Assistant Superintendent of Police, Ramanathapuram Sub-Division, Ramanathapuram District.
11. Priyanka Bhargav (IPS:2023), has been posted as Assistant Superintendent of Police, Nagapattinam Sub-Division, Nagapattinam District.
12. Rahul V Gopal (IPS:2024), has been posted as Assistant Superintendent of Police, Thiruvannamalai Rural Sub-Division, Thiruvannamalai District.
13. Saindane Swapnila Anil (IPS:2023), has been posted as Assistant Superintendent of Police, Rajapalayam Sub-Division, Virudhunagar District.
14. Tanoo Singh (IPS:2023), has been posted as Assistant Superintendent of Police, Oomatchikulam Sub-Division, Madurai District.
15. Ashish Puniya (IPS:2023), Assistant Superintendent of Police, Karaikudi Sub-Division, Sivaganga District, has been transferred and posted as Assistant Superintendent of Police, Anna Nagar Range, Madurai City.
