AP transfers 20 IAS, 2 IFS officers; Shamsher Singh Rawat gets Tourism Department

Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh Government on Friday (August 7, 2026) issued transfer and posting orders for 20 IAS officers and two IFS officers, along with several full additional charge (FAC) arrangements.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Shamsher Singh Rawat (IAS:1992:AP), Special Chief Secretary (Services & HRM), General Administration Department, has been transferred and posted as Special Chief Secretary (Tourism & Culture), YAT&C Department. He is also placed in full additional charge of the posts of Special Chief Secretary (Youth Services & Sports), YAT&C Department; Special Chief Secretary (Services & HRM), General Administration Department; and Special Chief Secretary (GPM & AR), General Administration Department.
2. J Syamala Rao (IAS:1997:AP), Principal Secretary (Political), GAD, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, School Education Department. He is also placed in full additional charge of the posts of Principal Secretary, Higher Education Department; Principal Secretary, Skill Development & Training Department; and Principal Secretary, (Political), GAD.
3. Kona Sasidhar (IAS:2003:AP), Secretary, School Education Department, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Transport, Roads & Buildings Department. He is also placed in full additional charge of the post of Secretary, Infrastructure & Investment Department.
4. M Siva Prasad (IFS:2010:AP), Director, SG & SW, has been transferred and his services placed at the disposal of the Transport, Roads & Buildings Department for posting as Joint Managing Director, APSRTC. He is also placed in FAC of the post of Director, SG & SW.
5. Amrapali Kata (IAS:2010:AP), Managing Director, APTDC, has been withdrawn from the YAT&C Department and directed to report to GAD for further posting.
6. Pattanshetti Ravi Subash (IAS:2013:AP), Secretary, APPSC, has been transferred and his services placed at the disposal of the YAT&C Department for posting as Managing Director, APTDC. He is also placed in FAC of the posts of CEO, APTA and Secretary, APPSC.
7. S Suresh Kumar (IAS:2000:AP), Principal Secretary, MA & UD Department, has been appointed as Special Officer, Godavari Pushkaralu, in addition to his regular duties.
8. Dr Narayana Bharath Gupta (IAS:2010:AP), Commissioner, Higher Education, has been appointed as Joint Special Officer, Godavari Pushkaralu, in addition to his regular duties.
9. Mutyalaraju Revu (IAS:2007:AP), Commissioner, AP State Institute of Rural Development, PR & RD Department, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Archaeology & Museums. K Venkata Krishna, recently re-appointed as Additional Secretary to Government & OSD to the Deputy Chief Minister, has been placed in FAC of the post of Commissioner, AP State Institute of Rural Development, PR & RD Department.
10. K V N Chakradhara Babu (IAS:2011:AP), Director, Secondary Health, has been placed in FAC of the posts of Commissioner, Health & Family Welfare and Managing Director, National Health Mission.
11. Hephsiba Rani Korlapati (IAS:2011:AP), awaiting posting, has been posted as Special Secretary, Housing Department. She is also placed in FAC of the posts of Vice Chairman & Managing Director, AP State Housing Corporation and Commissioner, AP Weaker Sections Housing Programme.
12. P Arun Babu (IAS:2014:AP), Vice Chairman & Managing Director, AP State Housing Corporation and Commissioner, AP Weaker Sections Housing Programme, has been withdrawn from the Housing Department and posted as Director General, Drug Control Administration. He is also placed in FAC of the post of Director, AYUSH.
13. N Tej Bharath (IAS:2018:AP), Metropolitan Commissioner, Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA), has been withdrawn from the MA & UD Department and directed to report to GAD for further posting.
14. Prakhar Jain (IAS:2020:AP), CEO, RTGS, has been transferred and his services placed at the disposal of the MA & UD Department for posting as Metropolitan Commissioner, Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA).
15. Geetanjali Sharma (IAS:2020:AP), Managing Director, AP State Fibernet Ltd, has been placed in FAC of the post of CEO, RTGS.
16. Chetan T S (IAS:2016:AP), Joint Secretary, O/o CCLA, has been placed in FAC of the posts of Director, Disaster Management and Ex-Officio Deputy Secretary to Government.
17. Dr A Sharath (Retd IAS), re-employed as Joint Executive Officer (Health & Education), Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), has been posted as Joint Executive Officer, TTD.
18. Prabhala Gopinadh (IAS), awaiting posting, has been placed at the disposal of the Revenue (Endowments) Department for posting as Joint Executive Officer (Health & Education), TTD.
19. A A L Padmavathi (IAS), awaiting posting, has been posted as Chief Executive Officer, NTR Vaidya Seva Trust.
20. M Jayakrishna (IAS), awaiting posting, has been placed at the disposal of the MA & UD Department for posting as Municipal Commissioner, Tirupati Municipal Corporation.
21. B Anil Kumar Reddy (IAS:2017:AP), Managing Director, AP Swachh Andhra Corporation, has been withdrawn from the MA & UD Department and directed to report to GAD for further posting.
22. B Sunil Kumar Reddy (IFS:2016:AP), Managing Director, AP Township and Infrastructure Development Corporation, has been placed in FAC of the post of Managing Director, AP Swachh Andhra Corporation.
