Bengaluru: The Karnataka government on Monday (July 20, 2026) issued transfer and posting orders for seven IAS officers. Notably, two IAS officers have been posted in the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO). While Nakul S S (IAS:2010:KN) has been appointed as Secretary to the Chief Minister, Yatish R (IAS:2021:KN) has been posted as Deputy Secretary-1 to the Chief Minister.
The names of the officers and their new postings are as follows:
- Nakul S S (IAS:2010:KN), Secretary (Expenditure), Finance Department, has been transferred and posted as Secretary to the Chief Minister, Government of Karnataka.
- Dr Ram Prasath Manohar V (IAS:2010:KN), Managing Director, Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL), has been given the concurrent charge of Secretary, Tourism Department.
- Abhiram G. Sankar (IAS:2011:KN), Managing Director, Karnataka Mining Environment Restoration Corporation (KMERC), has been given the concurrent charge of Additional Secretary (Expenditure), Finance Department, along with the additional charge of Secretary (Expenditure), Finance Department.
- Patil Yalagouda Shivanagouda (IAS:2012:KN), Executive Director, Suvarna Arogya Suraksha Trust, has been given the concurrent charge of Managing Director, Karnataka Skill Development Corporation and Managing Director, Karnataka Vocational Training and Skill Development Corporation.
- Shivaprasad PR (IAS:2013:KN), Managing Director, Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC), has been given the concurrent charge of Commissioner of Tourism.
- Shaikh Tanveer Asif (IAS:2017:KN), who was awaiting posting, has been posted as Director, Abdul Nazir Sab State Institute of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (ANSSIRD), Mysuru.
- Yatish R (IAS:2021:KN), Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Panchayat, Bengaluru Urban District, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Secretary-1 to the Chief Minister. He has also been given the concurrent charge of Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Panchayat, Bengaluru Urban District.
