Senior IAS officer Sajjan Singh Yadav (IAS:1995:AGMUT), serving as Special Secretary in the Department of Expenditure, has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre AGMUT.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday (June 3, 2026), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) approved his premature repatriation to the parent cadre on the request of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Yadav has been serving in the Department of Expenditure since August 2019. He initially joined the department as Joint Secretary and was later elevated after empanelment to Additional Secretary and Secretary equivalent level.
Before joining the Department of Expenditure, he served as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Women and Child Development.
