Senior IAS officer Anuradha Thakur (IAS:1994:HP), Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs, has been assigned additional charge of the post of Secretary, Department of Expenditure.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday (June 3, 2026), the competent authority approved assignment of the additional charge from June 4, 2026 to June 14, 2026.
Anuradha Thakur will hold the additional responsibility during the period of absence on leave of Vumlunmang Vualnam (IAS:1992), who is currently serving as Secretary, Department of Expenditure.
