PESB recommends Bhaskar Chowdary Nettem for ONGC Director (Production)

The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has recommended Bhaskar Chowdary Nettem for appointment as Director (Production) of Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC). The recommendation was made during the PESB selection meeting held on June 3, 2026.

Nettem is currently serving as Executive Director (E9) at ONGC. Following the recommendation, his name will now be sent to the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) for final approval. The appointment will be subject to vigilance clearance and completion of other prescribed formalities.

The post of Director (Production) will fall vacant on July 1, 2026, after the superannuation of the incumbent Pankaj Kumar on June 30, 2026.

Pankaj Kumar has been serving as Director (Production), ONGC since March 1, 2023.
