Karnataka govt transfers 3 IAS officers; Subodh Yadav gets Skill Development Department

The Karnataka government on Tuesday (May 27, 2026) carried out a minor bureaucratic reshuffle, transferring and posting three IAS officers with immediate effect.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Subodh Yadav (IAS:1999:KN), Principal Secretary, Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (Administrative Reforms), Bengaluru, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Department of Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood, Bengaluru. He has also been given concurrent charge of Principal Secretary, Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (Administrative Reforms), Bengaluru.
2. Khushboo G Chowdhary (IAS:2008:KN), Secretary, Education Department (Higher Education), Bengaluru, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner for Industrial Development and Director of Industries and Commerce, Bengaluru. She has also been given concurrent charge of Secretary, Education Department (Higher Education), Bengaluru and Managing Director, Karnataka State Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (KSIIDC), Bengaluru.
3. Preeti Gehlot (IAS:2016:KN), awaiting posting, has been posted as Additional Director, Fiscal Policy Institute, Bengaluru.
