IAS officer Piyush Singla (IAS:2012:AGMUT), who was earlier recommended for central deputation by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), has been selected for appointment as Director in the National Health Authority (NHA)-Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM).
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (May 25, 2026), his appointment has been made under the Central Staffing Scheme (CSS). He will assume the position from the date of taking over charge of the post.
The order stated that his tenure will be co-terminus with the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission and may be extended up to the admissible tenure under the Central Staffing Scheme or until further orders.
