Ms. Vineetha Ottapurakkal Kallada (ISS:2014), who was recommended for Central deputation by the Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation, has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) for four years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (May 20, 2026), the competent authority has approved the his appointment for a period of four years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
