REC Foundation signs ₹1.20 crore MoA with LLRM Medical College for healthcare access in Meerut

REC Foundation signs ₹1.20 crore MoA with LLRM Medical College to provide doorstep healthcare services in Meerut.

Reinforcing its commitment towards improving healthcare accessibility, REC Foundation, the CSR arm of REC Limited, signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial (LLRM) Medical College on May 21, 2026, to provide doorstep primary healthcare services to underserved communities in Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh.

The agreement was signed in the presence of MP Arun Govil, LLRM Medical College Principal Ramesh Gupta and senior REC officials, including Director (Projects) TSC Bosh, Director (Finance) Rajesh Kumar, Executive Director (CSR) Arun Kumar Tyagi and HOD (CSR) Bhupesh Chandolia.

Under the agreement, REC Foundation has committed financial assistance of ₹1.20 crore for procurement and deployment of one Mobile Medical Unit (MMU), including operational expenses for three years.

The Mobile Medical Unit is expected to provide essential healthcare services to remote and underserved communities, ensuring timely medical assistance for people with limited access to healthcare facilities.

REC Foundation said the initiative is aimed at promoting inclusive development and strengthening healthcare infrastructure through focused CSR efforts.
