PESB fails to find suitable candidate for CMD post of Yantra India Limited

The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has failed to find a suitable candidate for the post of Chairman & Managing Director, Yantra India Limited at a selection meeting held on May 16, 2026. The PESB interviewed three candidates for the job following which it recommended the Ministry/Department to choose an appropriate course of action for selection including the search cum selection committee (SCSC) or as deemed appropriate with the approval of the competent authority.

During the selection meeting, the following three candidates were interviewed:

1. Kundan Singh, Executive Director, Department of Defence Production
2. Surendra Dhapodkar, Senior Deputy Director General, Department of Defence Production
3. Shiva Shankar Prasad, Chief General Manager, Department of Defence Production
