Bhuvaneshwari S appointed Deputy Secretary in Coal Ministry

Bhuvaneshwari S (IRS-IT:2015), who was recommended for central deputation by Department of Defence, has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Coal for four years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (March 23, 2026), her appointment is done under the central staffing scheme for four years from the date of taking over the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
