ACC clears IG empanelment of 13 IPS officers for central postings

ACC approves IG empanelment of 13 IPS officers from multiple cadres for Inspector General or equivalent posts in the Government of India.

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) on Tuesday (February 17, 2026) approved the empanelment of 13 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers for posts at the level of Inspector General (IG) or equivalent in the Government of India.

The officers empanelled for IG-level posts are:

  1. Manoj Kaushik (IPS:2001:JH)
  2. Dumbere Milind Mahadeo (IPS:2006:AGMUT)
  3. S Premalatha (IPS:2006:BH)
  4. R V Asari (IPS:2006:GJ)
  5. Chandra Kishore Mina (IPS:2006:MH)
  6. B Sumathi (IPS:2006:TG)
  7. Akash Kulhary (IPS:2006:UP)
  8. Manoj Kumar (IPS:2006:UP)
  9. Akhilesh Kumar Singh (IPS:2003:AM)
  10. Ashok Kumar (IPS:2003:GJ)
  11. H Thanghaulien Gangte (IPS:2003:MH)
  12. Manoj Tiwari (IPS:2003:SK)
  13. Dhruv Gupta (IPS:2005:CH).

They will now be eligible for posting as IG or in equivalent ranks in central police organisations and other Union government offices, depending on vacancies and further orders.
