IAS officer Ratan Biswas (IAS:2013:TR) has been appointed as Director of Census Operations (DCO)/Director of Citizen Registration (DCR), Tripura, under the Central Staffing Scheme.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (September 26, 2025), the Competent Authority has approved her appointment at the Deputy Secretary level. He will serve in the post up to December 31, 2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
He is currently serving in the cadre Secretary, Tripura Human Rights Commission and Director GA(P&S) Department. The DoPT has directed that he be relieved of his duties in Tripura and join his new assignment immediately.
