Tripura govt enacts major reshuffle in police administration

In a major administrative move, the Tripura government on Saturday (September 6, 2025) ordered the transfer and posting of 43 IPS and TPS officers with immediate effect.

Here is the full list of officers with their present and new postings:

  1. Krishnendu Chakraverty (IPS), DIGP, Crime, Intelligence & Security with additional charge of SP (SB), is posted as IGP, Intelligence & Security with additional charge of SP (SB), Agartala.
  2. Sanjay Roy (IPS), DIGP, Training-cum-Director, KTDS, PTA, Agartala, has been transferred as DIGP, Crime, Agartala.
  3. Prabir Majumder (IPS), DIGP, Hqrs, Agartala. has been given additional charge of DIGP Training.
  4. Dilip Ray (IPS), Commandant, CIAT, Kachucherra, has been transferred and directed to report to Government of Manipur in place of Subrata Charaborty (Retd. IPS).
  5. Timir Das (IPS), SP, MTF, Agartala is transferred as Commandant, BWHGBN.
  6. Kallol Roy (TPS Gr-I), Commandant, SAF, is posted as SP, MTF with additional charge of STF.
  7. Kishan Kumar (TPS Gr-I), SP, SCRB Agartala is transferred as Commandant, CIAT, Kachucherra.
  8. Sudip Kumar Pal (TPS Gr-I), Commandant, 13th Bn TSR is posted as AIGP, Establishment, Agartala.
  9. Anirban Dhar Choudhury (TPS Gr-I), Commandant, 7th Bn TSR with additional charge of 10th Bn TSR is transferred as Commandant, 10th Bn TSR.
  10. Jyotisman Daschoudhury (TPS Gr-I), Commandant, 5th Bn TSR is transferred as Commandant, 7th Bn TSR.
  11. Narayan Roy Choudhury (TPS Gr-I), Commandant, 2nd Bn TSR is transferred as Commandant, 13th Bn TSR.
  12. Asish Debnath (TPS Gr-I), Commandant, 11th Bn TSR is posted as Commandant, 2nd Bn TSR with additional charge of 11th Bn TSR.
  13. Piamadhuri Majumder (TPS Gr-I), SP, Anti-Narcotics, is transferred as SP, Economic Offences, TPCB.
  14. Bikash Deb (TPS Gr-I), SP, Vigilance, is transferred as SP, SCRB.
  15. Ranadhir Debbarma (TPS Gr-I), SP, Police Control, has been posted as AIGP, Law & Order.
  16. Rajdeep Deb (TPS Gr-I), Dy. Commandant, 7th Bn TSR, has been transferred as SP, Police Control.
  17. Shyamananda Sharma (TPS Gr-I), Addl. SP, SB, is posted as SP, Anti-Narcotics.
  18. Jeremia Darlong (TPS Gr-I), Addl. SP, Unakoti, has been transferred as SP, Vigilance.
  19. Vanlileiana Darlong (TPS Gr-I), Addl. SP, MTF with additional charge of Addl. SP, Traffic, has been posted as Commandant, 5th Bn TSR.
  20. Anirban Das (TPS Gr-I), SO to DGP, Tripura, is posted as Commandant, SAF with additional charge of SO to DGP, Tripura.
  21. Rupam Chakma (TPS Gr-I), Dy. Commandant, 15th Bn TSR, has been transferred as Addl. SP, Unakoti.
  22. Raju Reang (TPS Gr-I), Addl. SP, SB, is transferred as Dy. Commandant, 15th Bn TSR.
  23. Souvik De (TPS Gr-I), Addl. SP, TPCB, has been given additional charge of Addl. SP, STF.
  24. Dipankar Paul (TPS Gr-I), Dy. Commandant, 14th Bn TSR, has been transferred and posted as Dy. Commandant, Home Guards (attached to THRC).
  25. Lalhim Malsom (TPS Gr-I), Dy. Commandant, Home Guards (attached to THRC), has been transferred as Dy. Commandant, 14th Bn TSR.
  26. Jayanta Karmakar (TPS Gr-I), SDPO, Kailashahar is transferred as SDPO, Dharmanagar.
  27. Raghu A (IPS Prob.), earlier posted in Unakoti District is transferred as SDPO, Kailashahar.
  28. B. Zorinpuiia (TPS Gr-II), SDPO, Dharmanagar is transferred as SP, TPCB.
  29. Rahul Balhara (IPS Prob.), earlier posted in Dhalai District is transferred as SDPO, Panisagar.
  30. Panna Lal Sen (TPS Gr-II), SDPO, Teliamura is transferred as Dy. SP, SB, Agartala.
