Amit Mohan Govil gets additional charge as FIU-India Director

Amit Mohan Govil (IRS-IT:1990), Director General, Central Economic Intelligence Bureau (CEIB), has been given additional charge of the post of Director, Finance Intelligence Unit–India (FIU-India). According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of Department of Revenue for entrustment of additional charge of the post to Mr Govil for a period of six months from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or till a regular incumbent is appointed or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

The committee also granted ex-post facto approval for the extension of additional charge of FIU-India Director to Vivek Aggarwal (IAS:1994:MP), Additional Secretary, Department of Revenue, for the period from March 30, 2025, to April 21, 2025.
