Alok Ranjan Ghosh (IAS:2011:BH) has been appointed as Director in the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) under the Central Staffing Scheme (CSS).
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel & Training on Thursday (July 31, 2025), Ghosh, who was presently on compulsory wait in DoPT, will assume charge as Director with immediate effect. His tenure will continue till February 2, 2030, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
