Delhi: 28 IAS officers shifted, Shilpa Shinde appointed CEO of DJB

The Delhi government on Thursday (17.10.2024) implemented a major bureaucratic reshuffle, issuing transfer orders for 28 IAS officers. This reshuffle had been speculated for several days and was finally executed today.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Sudhir Kumar (IAS:1999:AGMUT), Principal Secretary, Vigilance, has been given additional charge of Principal Secretary, Administrative Reforms Department.
2. Nikhil Kumar (IAS:2002:AGMUT), Secretary, Land & Building, has been transferred and posted as Secretar (Revenue)-cum-Divisional Commissioner with additional charge of Secretary, Land & Building.
3. Shilpa Shinde (IAS:2006:AGMUT), MD, Delhi Transport Corporation with additional charge of Special Commissioner, Transport, has been transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Delhi Jal Board.
4. SK Jain (IAS:2007:AGMUT), Project Director, CATS with additional charge of Special Secretary, Health & Family Welfare.
5. Sachin Shinde (IAS:2008:AGMUT), Additional Commissioner, MCD, has been transferred and posted as MD, Delhi Transport Corporation with additional charge of Special Commissioner, Transport.
6. Chanchal Yadav (IAS:2008:AGMUT), Secretary, Home, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Trade & Taxes.
7. Arti Lal Sharma (IAS:2010:AGMUT), Delhi Development Authority, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Planning.
8. SK Singh (IAS:2011:AGMUT), Member, DUSIB, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Trade & Taxes with additional charge of Additional IG, Delhi Prison.
9. Sajeev Kumar Mittal (IAS:2011:AGMUT), MD, DSIIDC, has been transferred and posted as Special Commissioner (Road Safety), Transport Department.
10. Ajay Kumar Bisht (IAS:2011:AGMUT), Special Commissioner, Trade & Taxes with additional charge of Additional IG, Delhi Prison, has been transferred and posted as Staff Officer to Chief Secretary with additional charge of Special Secretary, Vigilance.
11. Ravi Dhawan (IAS:2011:AGMUT), Special Secretary, Power with additional charge of MD, IPGCL/PPCL, Nodal Officer (Special Monitoring Cell, Single Use Plastic, Liason with Northern Railway, Redevelopment of AIIMS), has been transferred and posted as MD, DSIIDC with additional charges of Special Secretary, Power, MD, IPGCL/PPCL, Nodal Officer (Special Monitoring Cell, Single Use Plastic, Liason with Northern Railway, Redevelopment of AIIMS).
12. Ravi Jha (IAS:2011:AGMUT), Deputy Commissioner, New Delhi, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Excise.
13. BS Jaglan (IAS:2011:AGMUT), Awaiting posting orders, has been posted as ED, DSIIDC with additional charge of Special Commissioner, Industries.
14. D Verma (IAS:2011:AGMUT), Awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Member, DUSIB with additional charge of ED, DFC.
15. SM Ali (IAS:2011:AGMUT), Awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Special Secretary, Urban Development with additional charge of GM, DTTDC.
16. Vinay Kumar (IAS:2011:AGMUT), Awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Special Secretary, Health with additional charge of Special Secretary, Home.

18. Tapasya Raghav (IAS:2013:AGMUT), Special Commissioner, Trade & Taxes with additional charge of Staff Officer to Chief Secretary, has been transferred and posted as Special Commissioner, Trade & Taxes with additional charge of Special Secretary, Health & Project Director, CATS.
19. Sachin Rana (IAS:2014:AGMUT), On joining in GNCTD, has been posted as Additional CEO, DJB.
20. Santosh Kumar Rai (IAS:2014:AGMUT), Special Secretary, Home, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, MCD.
21. Swetika Sachan (IAS:2014:AGMUT), On joining in GNCTD, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, MCD.
22. Veditha Reddy (IAS:2015:AGMUT), Deputy Commissioner, North East Delhi, has been transferred and posted as Director, Education.
