Pankaj Agrawal (IAS:1992:MP), Secretary, Minister of Power, has been given additional charge of the post Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH). According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (01.10.2024), the competent authority has approved the assignment of additional charge of the post to Mr. Agrawal till the appointment of a regular incumbent.
Previously, Anurag Jain (IAS:1989:MP) was serving as Secretary, MoRTH, but he was repatriated to his parent cadre on Monday and appointed as Chief Secretary of Madhya Pradesh. Upon his appointment, Jain relinquished his post at MoRTH to take on his new role.
