Tripura : Six IAS officers shifted

The Tripura government on Wednesday (17.08.2022) ordered transfer and posting of six IAS officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. LH Darlong (IAS:1996:TR), Principal Secretary, GA (AR), GA (P&T), R.D. (including Panchayats) and Transport Departments with additional charges of Ex-Officio Chairman, Tripura Urban Transport Company Ltd. (TUTCL) and Director, Vigilance, is relieved from the charges of Transport Department and Chairman of Tripura Urban Transport Company Limited (TUTCL).
2. Brijesh Pandey (IAS:2004:TR), Secretary of Finance, Education, Power and Audit department with additional charge of Chairman (Non-Executive, TSECL (Ex-officio), has been relieved from the charges of Education department.
3. Saradindu Choudhury (IAS:2007:TR) (retired), Secretary of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Home (excluding Jail and Fire & Emergency Services) with additional charge of Education (Youth Affairs & Sports) will now hold the additional charges of Education (School & Higher) Departments and has been relieved from the charges of Education (Youth Affairs & Sports) and Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Departments.
4. Pradeep Kumar Chakravorty (IAS:2006:TR), Secretary of Science, Technology and Environment department with additional charge of Secretary, Tripura Human Rights Commission, will now also hold the additional charges of Information and Cultural Affairs and Education (Youth Affairs and Sports) departments.
5. Abhishek Chandra (IAS:2003:TR), Special Secretary with independent charges of SC Welfare, Industries & Commerce (including HH&S and excluding IT) and Information and Cultural Affairs Department, has been relieved from the charge of Information & Cultural Affairs Department.
6. Dr. Rathod Sandeep Rewaji (IAS:2009:TR), Special Secretary of Rural Development Department with additional charge of Director (Projects) SLMC of R D Department, will also hold the additional charges of Transport, Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Departments independently. He will also hold the charge of ex-officio Chairman of Tripura Urban Transport Company Limited (TUTCL).
