Sikkim : Five IPS officers shifted

The Sikkim government on Wednesday (08.06.2022) issued transfer and posting orders of five IPS officers across the state.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows

1. A K Singh (IPS:1990:SK), Director, Sikkim Vigilance Police with additional charge of SDGP, CID will relinquish the charge of SDGP, CID.
2. Manoj Tiwari (IPS:2003:SK), Director, Sikkim Fire & Emergency Service is transferred and posted as Director, Directorate of Prosecution, Sikkim.
3. Khilburna Gurung (SPS), IGP, Home Guards & Civil Defence is transferred and posted as Director, Sikkim Fire & Emergency Service with additional charge of IGP, Home Guards & Civil Defence.
4. B K Tamang (IPS:2006:SK), DIGP, Range is transferred and posted as DIGP, Namchi Police Range with headquarters at Jorethang.
5. Tashi Wangyal (IPS:2008:SK), DIGP, HQ is transferred and posted as DIGP, Gangtok Police Range with headquarters at Gangtok.
