The Election Commission on Friday (13.05.2022) appointed Mukesh Kumar Meena (IAS:1998:AP) as Chief Electoral Officer for Andhra Pradesh in place of K Vijayanand (IAS:1992:AP). Prior to this assignment, he was serving as Secretary in the Finance Department handling Commercial Taxes Department with additional charge of Secretary, Food Processing.
