The Jharkhand government on Friday (13.05.2022) issued an order reinstating Additional Director General of Police Anurag Gupta (IPS:1990:JH). He has been made ADG training. Gupta, who was the main accused in the alleged horse-trading of MLAs in the Rajya Sabha elections in 2016, was suspended in February 2020. The Central Administrative Tribunal revoked his suspension in April.
Chairman-cum-Managing Director of Jharkhand Police Housing Corporation Ajay Kumar Singh (IPS:1989:JH) has been given additional charge of Director General, anti-corruption bureau. ADG training T Kandasami (IPS:1997:JH) has been transferred as ADG rail and IG Pankaj Kamboj (IPS:1997:JH) has been given additional charge of IG ACB.
