The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Tuesday (29.03.2022) appointed Neeraj Thakur (IPS:1994:AGMUT) as Director General of Police (DGP), Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Presently, he is serving as Special Commissioner of Police (Special Cell), Delhi Police.
The MHA also transferred incumbent Andaman and Nicobar DGP Satyendra Garg (IPS:1987:AGMUT) to Delhi. He took charge as DGP of Andaman and Nicobar in December 2020.
