UPSC shortlists three names for UP DGP post

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Tuesday cleared a panel of IPS officers, one of them will succeed Hitesh Chandra Awasthi (IPS:1985:UP), who is set to retire on June 30. A panel comprising three names of IPS officers was cleared and forwarded to the state government for appointment to the top post.

The three names are ;

1. Nasir Kamal (IPS:1986:UP)
2. Mukul Goel (IPS:1987:UP)
3. R P Singh (IPS:1987:UP)
