Tamil Nadu : 39 IPS officers transferred, promoted

The Tamil Nadu government on Tuesday issued transfer and posting orders of 39 IPS officers in the state. At least eight deputy inspectors-general (DIG) have been promoted as inspectors-general (IG) of police, and at least nine superintendents of Police (SP) have been promoted as DIGs.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :
