The Kerala government on Wednesday appointed Dr. Vishwas Mehta (IAS:1986:KL) as the new Chief Secretary of state. He will replace Tom Jose (IAS:1984:KL), who is set to hang up his boots on May 31. At present, Vishwas Mehta is serving as additional chief secretary (Home).
