The Modi government has nominated Sanjeev Kaushik (IAS:1992:KL), additional secretary at the Ministry of Finance, as nominee director on the board of Indian Bank. He will replace Amit Agrawal (IAS:1993:CG),joint secretary in the Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance.
Kaushik has served as Director capital market division of the Finance Ministry. He also served as CEO of Industrial Finance Company (IFCI) and as Deputy Managing Director of India Infrastructure Finance Company (IIFCL).
