The West Bengal government on Thursday (12:08:2021) issued transfer posting orders of four Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :
- A R Bardhan (IAS:1989:WB) : Additional Chief Secretary, North Bengal Development Department with additional charges of Commissioner, Jalpaiguri Division and Principal Secretary, GTA.
- Vivek Kumar (IAS:1990:WB) : Additional Chief Secretary, Forest Department with additional charges of Additional Chief Secretary, Environment Department, Additional Chief Secretary, Animal Resources Development Department and OSD, Biswa Bangla Corporation in the Office of the Resident Commissioner, New Delhi.
- Surendra Gupta (IAS:1997:WB) : Principal Secretary, PHE Department.
- Jagdish Prasad Meena (IAS:2004:WB) : Secretary, Chief Minister’s Office with additional charge of Secretary in the Finance Department.
