West Bengal : 14 IAS officers transferred

In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the West Bengal government transferred 14 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers in the state.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows

1. A Subbiah (IAS:1992:WB) : Principal Secretary, Backward Classes Welfare Department with additional charge of MD, WBECSC Ltd. and Commissioner Medinipur Division.
2. Dushyant Nariala (IAS:1993:WB) : Principal Secretary, Disaster Management and Civil Defence Departnment.
3. Rajesh Kumar Sinha (IAS:1997:WB) : Secretary, Tribal Development Departement.
4. Neelam Meena (IAS:1998:WB) : Secretary, Correctional Administration Department.
5. Abhinav Chandra (IAS:2001:WB) : Secretary, Agriculture Marketing Department with additional charge of Secretary in Planning & Statistics Department and Programme Monitoring Department.
6. Naba Gopal (IAS:2004:WB) : Secretary, Transport Department.
7. Smita Panday (IAS:2005:WB) : Additional Secretary, Fisheries Department.
8. Amit Choudhary (IAS:2006:WB) : Additional Secretary, ATI, West Bengal.
