West Bengal : 07 IAS officers transferred

The West Bengal government on Thursday issued fresh transfer and posting orders for seven senior IAS officers in the state.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. A R Bardhan (IAS:1989:WB) : Additional Chief Secretary, PHE Department with additional charge of Commissioner, Jalpaiguri Division.
2. Subrata Biswas (IAS:1990:WB) : Principal Secretary, Youth Services & Sports Department with additional charge of Paschimanchal Unnayan Affairs Department.
3. Barun Kumar Ray (IAS:1992:WB) : Principal Secretary, Labour Department.
4. Roshni Sen (IAS:1993:WB) : Principal Secretary, Mass Education Extension and Library Service Department.
5. Dr. Ravi Inder Singh (IAS:1994:WB) : Principal Secretary, Correctional Administration Department.
6. Surendra Gupta (IAS:1997:WB) : Principal Secretary, GTA with additional charge of Secretary, North Bengal Development Department.
7. Neelam Meena (IAS:1998:WB) : Director, Institute of Environmental Studies & Wetland Management with Additional charge of Secretary in Environment Deptt.
