VR Akkaraju, Chairperson, New Mangalore Port Trust, has been given additional charge of the post of Chairperson (JS level), Mormugao Port Trust, for a period of six months. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (23.06.2022), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal for entrustment of additional charge of Chairperson (JS level), Mormugao Port Trust to Akkaraju for a period of six months with effect from 03.06.2022 or till the appointment of a new incumbent or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
