Uttarakhand: Chief Secretary SS Sandhu gets six months extension

Uttarakhand Chief Secretary SS Sandhu (IAS:1988:UK) has been given a six-month extension from August 1, 2023 to January 31, 2024. Sandhu was set to retire on July 31, 2023. In addition to ongoing works at Kedarnath and Badrinath, a number of other key Centre-funded projects are underway, which led to Sandhu’s service extension, according to sources. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami in his first term named Sandhu as the CS.
