UP promotes 29 PCS officers to IAS after UPSC clearance

The Uttar Pradesh Government has promoted 29 Provincial Civil Services (PCS) officers to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) following approval by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC).

The promoted officers belong to the 2010 and 2011 batches of the PCS and are presently serving in key positions across district administrations, development authorities, municipal bodies, revenue administration, the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC), the Election Department and other state government institutions.

2010 PCS Batch Officers Promoted to IAS

The following eight officers of the 2010 PCS batch have been inducted into the IAS:

1. Dr Vishram – Additional Commissioner, Mirzapur
2. Ashok Kumar Kanojia – Joint Director, Youth Welfare, Lucknow
3. Pushparaj Singh – Secretary, Gorakhpur Development Authority
4. Sanjay Kumar Singh – ADM (Executive), Muzaffarnagar
5. Raj Kumar Dwivedi – Additional Commissioner, Mirzapur
6. Rakesh Kumar Patel – Additional Commissioner (Judicial), Lucknow
7. Sushila – Additional Commissioner, Kanpur
8. Alok Kumar – ADM (Finance & Revenue), Gonda
