The Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday (15.04.2025) transferred 16 IAS officers in a fresh round of bureaucratic reshuffle. As part of the changes, the District Magistrates of six districts — Ayodhya, Chandauli, Badaun, Etawah, Kannauj, and Amethi — have been replaced.
This comes a day after the transfer of nine IAS officers on Monday, taking the total number of reshuffled officers to 25 in just two days, signalling an intensified administrative overhaul by the state government.
