Unmesh Sharad Wagh to continue as acting Chairperson of JNPA

Unmesh Sharad Wagh (IRS-C&CE:2000), Deputy Chairperson, Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA), will continue to hold the additional charge of Chairperson (JS level), Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority for six months. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (23.07.2024), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal for entrustment of additional charge of the post for six months with effect from 03.07.2024 or till regular appointment to the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
