Three IAS officers appointed to PMO

The Modi government on Friday effected major bureaucratic rejig by transferring as many as 22 senior bureaucrats. Out of these officers, three IAS officers have been appointed in the Prime Minister’s Office.

They are :

1. S Gopalakrishnan (IAS:1991:TN) has been appointed as Additional Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office. Presently, he is Serving Additional Secretary, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology.
2. C. Sridhar (IAS:2001:BH) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office. Presently, he is serving as Deputy Director in LBSNAA, Mussoorie.
3. Ms. Meera Mohanty (IAS:2005:HP) has been appointed as Director in the Prime Minister’s Office. Presently, she is Director, Cabinet Secretariat.
