Tamil Nadu transfers 10 IAS officers; Dr T Prabhushankar moved to Geology & Mining, Jeyaseelan gets Tourism

The Tamil Nadu government has issued transfer and posting orders for 10 IAS officers across the state, effecting changes in district administration as well as key departments and state-run entities.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Dr. T Prabhushankar (IAS:2013:TN), Managing Director, Metropolitan Transport Corporation Limited, has been transferred and posted as Director, Geology and Mining.
2. Dr V P Jeyaseelan (IAS:2014:TN), Joint Commissioner (Health), Greater Chennai Corporation, has been transferred and posted as Director, Tourism. He will also function as Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation Limited.
3. P Akash (IAS:2014:TN), District Collector, Madurai District, has been transferred and posted as District Collector, Sivaganga District.
4. Nishanth Krishna (IAS:2018:TN), District Collector, Sivaganga District, has been transferred and posted as District Collector, Madurai District.
5. N Ponmani (IAS:2021:TN), Joint Commissioner, Commercial Taxes, Erode, has been transferred and posted as Additional Commissioner, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments, Tiruchirappalli Region.
6. J Innocent Divya (IAS:2009:TN), on return from leave, has been placed at the disposal of Tamil Nadu Handloom Weavers Cooperative Society (Co-Optex) for appointment as Managing Director.
7. Kavitha Ramu (IAS:2011:TN), Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Handloom Weavers Cooperative Society (Co-Optex), has been placed at the disposal of Tamil Nadu Urban Finance and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (TUFIDCO) for appointment as Managing Director.
8. D Mohan (IAS:2012:TN), Director, Geology and Mining, has been placed at the disposal of Metropolitan Transport Corporation Limited for appointment as Managing Director.
9. Shneya P Singh (IAS:2013:TN), Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board, has been placed at the disposal of Greater Chennai Corporation for appointment as Joint Commissioner.
10. P Ramana Saraswathi (IAS:2013:TN), Managing Director, Tamil Nadu FibreNet Corporation Limited, has been placed at the disposal of Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board for appointment as Managing Director.
