S K Prabakar (IAS:1989:TN) was on Saturday appointed as State’s new Home Secretary. Prabakar, now Principal Secretary, Highways and Minor Ports is transferred and posted as Principal Secretary to Government, Home, Prohibition and Excise department vice Niranjan Mardi (IAS:1986:TN) who was scheduled to retire on 30.11.2019.
