The Supreme Court Collegium in its meeting held on 28th September, 2022 has recommended the elevation of three Judges of various High Courts as Chief Justices.
They are ;
- Justice Jaswant Singh, presently a Judge of the Orissa High Court, has been recommended as Chief Justice of Orissa High Court.
- Justice P B Varale, presently a Judge of the Bombay High Court, has been recommended as Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court.
- Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey, presently a Judge of the J&K High Court, has been recommended as Chief Justice of J&K High Court.
