Supreme Court Collegium recommends elevation of 3 Judges as Chief Justices

The Supreme Court Collegium in its meeting held on 28th September, 2022 has recommended the elevation of three Judges of various High Courts as Chief Justices.

They are ;

1. Justice Jaswant Singh, presently a Judge of the Orissa High Court, has been recommended as Chief Justice of Orissa High Court.
2. Justice P B Varale, presently a Judge of the Bombay High Court, has been recommended as Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court.
3. Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey, presently a Judge of the J&K High Court, has been recommended as Chief Justice of J&K High Court.
