Suman Sharma appointed as UPSC Member

The Modi government appointed Suman Sharma (IRS-IT: 1990) as Member of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). She would serve in the post up to May 2029 as the tenure of the UPSC member is six years or until he/she attains the age of sixty-five years, whichever is earlier.

Presently, she is CMD of Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) Limited and prior to her assignment at SECI, she worked in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, as the Additional Director General of Foreign Trade, North Zone.
