Daljit Singh Chawdhary (IPS:1990:UP), Director General (DG) of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), has been given additional charge of DG of Border Security Force (BSF) following the repatriation of incumbent Nitin Agarwal (IPS:1989:KL) to his parent cadre Kerala.
According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Saturday (03.08.2024), the competent authority has approved the assignment of additional charge of the post to Mr. Chawdhary till the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
