The Supreme Court Collegium has reiterated its recommendation to transfer Chief Justice V.K. Tahilramani from the Madras High Court to the Meghalaya High Court. The Collegium refused to accede her request to reconsider its recommendation by explaining, on seperate orders on September 3, that transfer was recommended in the interest of “better administration of justice”.
