The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the transfer of seven High Court Judges as part of its ongoing efforts to promote judicial diversity and enhance the administration of justice. The recommendations were made during Collegium meetings held on April 15 and April 19, 2025
The proposal includes the transfer of four judges from the Karnataka High Court, two from the Telangana High Court, and one from the Andhra Pradesh High Court.
They are;
From Karnataka High Court:
- Justice Hemant Chandangoudar is proposed to be transferred to the Madras High Court
- Justice Krishnan Natarajan is proposed to be transferred to the Kerala High Court
- Justice Neranahalli Srinivasan Sanjay Gowda is proposed to be transferred to the Gujarat High Court
- Justice Dixit Krishna Shripad is proposed to be transferred to the Orissa High Court
From Telangana High Court:
- Justice Perugu Sree Sudha is proposed to be transferred to the Karnataka High Court
- Justice Kasoju Surendhar @ K Surender to be transferred to the Madras High Court
From Andhra Pradesh High Court:
- Justice Dr. Kumbhajadala Manmadha Rao is proposed to be transferred to the Karnataka High Court
